My life and my wife, yo

In June 1950, the communist country North Korea went southward across the 38th parallel boundary in attempt to take over South Korea the noncommunist country. I responded by sending U.S forces under General Douglas MacArthur and the UN. In the war the we were pushed back to the southern part of the Korean peninsula, but General MacArthur wanted a victory. MacArthur and his army drove North Korea northward to the Yalu River boundary. Thousands of Chinese troops then poured into North Korea, pushing the fight once again. North Korea later surrendered.

In 1948, the morning after my presidential election, the news read “DEWEY BEATS TRUMAN”. Although political writers, polls, newspapers, republicans, and even some democrats expected me to lose the election, I pulled through and proved to be the more worthy a president. In the biggest political upset in U.S history.

Bess Truman, who was my wife, was born in 1885, at 117 west ruby street, in Missouri. Her father was held many public offices, including county treasurer, as well as helped make her to who she is today. She was a very independent woman who new a lot about politics. She wasn’t a normal stay-at-home wife, she was the co-founder of a very successful flour mill. She never really did have a strong feminine side, as she was always teased in school for being somewhat of a tomboy. All in all, she was my wife, and I loved her dearly.

After elected president, my wife took on many challenges as the first lady of the United States. She had a packed agenda at luncheons or teas, she normally had two or more engagements a day. Many of my co workers and friends called Bess the, “down-to-earth”, first lady. That was a Cool story bro, wont it. Now u know bout me i wants to knows bout you aight.
